Buddhdev to edit Sushruta

BUDDHDEV TO LEAD SUSHRUTA EDITORIAL TEAM
Buddhdev Pandya MBE, the Chief Editor of an award winning newspaper -Asian Lite is to Edit Sushruta magazine publised by British Association of Physicians of Indian Origin.

BAPIO, a national body representing doctors of Indian origin has appointed Mr Buddhdev Pandya MBE to lead an editorial team of expert doctors to publish its quarterly magazine.
Amongst the team would be Dr Joydeep Grover, Dr Sajayan and Dr Parvathi Raghuram, all active members of BAPIO corporate team. The organsiation has already gained high repute as it recently won a decision against the British Governmnet - Department of Health, in a Judicial Review challanged mounted to decalre the recruitment guidelines illgal.
The organsiation is due to begin its membership drive to attarct thousand of doctors of Indian origin working in the NHS. " Sushruta, named after an surgeon in India who performed sucessful plastic surgery many ceturies ago; will be a quality magazine that will serve as mouth piece for the doctors originaly from the Indian subcontinent and also those who are British." said Buddhdev Pandya.
Mr Pandya with previous experince as a member of a Health Authority and Community Health Council is also Chair of MiNet, a london wide BME network and Policy and Communication Advisor of European Multicultural Foundation.
